NAME: Justin Parrish
AGE: 27
ACHIEVEMENTS:
* Go Karts- Started racing go-karts at the age of 8, racing in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Indiana, and Wiscosin. In Go-Karts Justin had many feature wins and many championships.
- 3-time Illinois State Champion in 1993,1994, 1995
- 1-time dirt Grand National Championship in 2000
- 1-time Asphalt Grand National Champion in 2001
- 100 lap Lakeside Speedway Champion in 2000
- Iowa All-Pro Champion in 2000
- 2006 Open Tulsa Shootout Champion in December of 2005
* Sprint Cars- Started racing sprint cars at the age of 21 in a 360. Raced the Invader Series in 2004 and 2005.
- won his first heat race in his third night in the 360 his rookie season
- Got his second heat race win that season as well while finishing 24th in points
- 2005 made 100% showing at all Invader races with 4 heat race wins, many top ten finishes in all features ran.
- 2005 season finished 9th in points for the Sprint Invaders
- 2005 in his second season racing he qualified for the A-main at Knoxville in only his third attempt
- 2 years taken off before racing sprints again in 2008.
- 2008 raced 305's at 34 Raceway, where he was finishing in the top 5 battling for the points championship until unfortunate luck with blowing 2 motors in this season. With all the motor issues and being out for 6 weeks, Justin still finished 9th in points and picking up three heat race wins!
- 2008 racing the 305 with the 360's in the sprint invader series making all A-Main events the nights he raced with them.
- 2008 at Bloomfield- ran very well both times, being out front and having to pull off due to overheating issues with the motor both weekends.
- 2009 running both 305 and 360, Justin raced the 305 one night for 3 laps of hotlaps and the motor blew up.
- May 8, 2009 -Justin and the crew took the 360 out to 34 Raceway for the 410 IRA show. Ran very well in the heat race, but missed making the A-Main and had to run the B-main, where he took the last qualifying position for the A-Main in the last lap of the B-Main against all 410's! Great Job Justin. One of only 2 360's to make the A-Main, the other being Matt Sutton. Justin made the A-Main, but was taken out intentionally after the checkered flags 20 yards past the flag stand. The crew worked very hard on the car getting it out to take the green flag.
- August 21, 2009 -Justin picked up a heat race win at Morgan County Speedway in Jacksonville,IL!
Making a great showing after finding problems with our camshaft and distributer that we had been battling all season long!
- 2009 -Justin finished 9th in points out of 30 cars and made 100% showing at all sprint invader races!
Also won the Kevin Doty Preservance Award! Justin and crew were very happy to be able to finish in the top ten in points after a rough season!
- 2009 -Justin finished 9th in his first ever non -wing race!
- June 25th, 2010 - Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville,IL. Justin won his heat by nearly a straightaway and then he drew outside row 1 for the dash and the dash was all Justin, he led from flag to flag with over a straightaway lead on 2nd place making it his first dash victory! He went on to Finish 4th in the A-main!
- August 5th, 2010 - Knoxville,IL - Justin and the crew came into this sad night after losing a crew member to cancer the Sunday before the race. Justin ran second in the heatrace and started outside the front row for the dash and in front of his home town crowd Justin picked up his second dash win of the season in dominating style. Justin went on to finish 4th in the A-main.
- September 17th, 2010 - Burlington,IA - Justin finally got the 305 back to race and he made it a race. Justin started 9th in the feature only to be in 3rd by the completed lap. From there Justin ran the show, taking the lead on the next restart and never looking back to win by almost a half track bringing PNP Motorsports and Justin their first career sprint car victory.
- October 2nd, 2010 - Lee County Speedway - Justin took the 305 out to play at the fast 3/8 mile with the 360 Invaders. Justin missed making the A through the heat race so had to go to the B. He started 4th in the B and passed two 360s to finish second putting him in the show. Justin started 17th and as the track got slick Justin kept the momentum up and flew around the cushion to drive to a 9th place finish earning the hard charger award. This also made it so that Justin finished 9th in points with the Invaders despite missing 3 races!
- 2011 - Justin and PNP Motorsports added another feature win to their belt on July 16th as Justin started 9th in the 305 feature at 34 raceway and made a final lap pass to take the win.
- 2011 - Justin led Invader points until an unfortunate engine failure while leading a heat race in Peoria cost him the points lead.
- 2011 - Justin Finished 9th in Sprint Invader points and 7th in 305 points. He had many hard charger awards with the Invaders and got the Most Improved driver award.
