started the nite out side row one in the heat race and was leading the race with four to go when justin got sideways and lost four positions started fourth in the b-main was running second when justin lost his muffler and ended up finishing third and then got disqualified for loss of muffler during the race! car ran good up until the muffler fell off then it started losing power! dissapointed but we are going into next week feeling good because the car is running much better!
We got the silver chassis going for the 5th. Motor is running good, and we are back into the competition.
West Liberty race was a success for the crew! the motor finally got up and ran started 12th and really started hooking up when the track took rubber! Justin just kept getting faster as the race went on! Finished 9th! If we could have gotten a caution to catch pack Justin Would have finshed even better!
Sent 360 motor to engine builder, he thinks he has the problem fixed and has told us he will have it back before the next invader race and told us he will have the 305 back in 3 weeks! Also midland should have the silver chassis done soon! If no engine problems occur both cars will be going to the lake of the ozarks speedway in eldin,mo on Sep 5th and 6th!
The sprint invader race at West Liberty has been rescheduled for August 29! The Eagle Chassis is at Midland, but we didn't get it back in time for the Race June 28th, Hope we have it back in a few weeks. We think that we have the cutting out issues resolved, i guess we will find out at Tipton this Thursday. Eagle chassis is off of the frame machine and into Midland Perf. to see if it is possible to save it and run it possibly june 28th in east moline We think we might have found out what the over heating issue has been all along when running the 305 car. We ran the 360 in that car at CJ this past weekend and found that it is more than likely the tail tank bladder causing all the issues. We were out running if front in the heat race when the car over heated and once again like last year, Justin had to pull in. The nossles were clogged and did the same in the feature. We think we have found the problem, lets hope so!! |
